Shipbuilding gantry cranes have a large span, and the gantry usually adopts one rigid leg and one flexible leg, that is, one rigid leg is fixed to the main beam, and the other flexible leg is connected to the main beam through a flexible hinge. There are two main beams, single main beam and double main beam. According to the requirements of shipbuilding technology, shipbuilding gantry cranes should have multiple functions such as single crane, double hook lifting, three hook lifting, hull section aerial overturn and aerial micro-rotation, and especially should meet the requirements of hull section turning and closing operations. Shipbuilding gantry cranes are generally equipped with two upper and lower carts. The upper and lower trolleys travel on their respective tracks, and the lower trolley can pass under the upper trolley. The upper trolley is equipped with two lifting mechanisms with the same lifting weight. The lifting points are respectively straddling the outer side of the main beam. The two lifting mechanisms can act separately or in combination to complete the double hook lifting and rotation of the hull section. Equipped with a horizontal movement mechanism, which can move horizontally to complete the micro-movement and micro-rotation of the workpiece, and can be accurately aligned when closing. The lower trolley is provided with a main hook and an auxiliary hook. The main hook can be lifted separately or combined with the two hooks of the upper trolley to complete three-hook lifting and turning over in the air. The auxiliary hook is generally used for lifting small pieces.
