The QZ type electric grab bridge crane mainly consists of a box-shaped bridge frame, a grab trolley, a hoisting mechanism, a driver's cabin, and an electrical control system. The material handling device is a grab that can pick up bulk materials.
The grab trolley has opening and closing mechanisms and a lifting mechanism, with the grab and four steel ropes suspended from the opening and closing mechanisms and the lifting mechanism. The opening and closing mechanism drives the grab to close and pick up materials. Once the grab is closed, the lifting mechanism is immediately activated, allowing the four steel ropes to bear the load evenly during the lifting process. During unloading, only the opening and closing mechanism is activated, causing the grab to open and tilt the materials.
This crane is fundamentally the same as a hook bridge crane, except for the differences in the lifting mechanism.
